Classes

I teach using Google Slides so students can see images and videos to match their new vocabulary.
Each lesson includes review, reading and writing practice, new grammar introduction, speaking, listening, and homework. We will learn how to read with proper pronunciation, understand the characteristics of the language, and understand basic sentence structures.

Each class structure depends on the learner pace and request but here is the rough progression structure for Japanese:

Beginners: Learn hiragana, colors, numbers, greetings, introductions, animals, particles, likes and dislikes, family, and places.

Intermediate: Learn katakana, counters, time, body parts, adjectives, cooking and food, directions, past and present tenses

Advanced: Learn kanji, verbs, complex conjugation, compound sentences, personality and physical appearance descriptions, expressing opinions and emotions, skills, cause and effect, essay writing
